Radio is my life, and I’m grateful for the existence of The Trail 103.3.

Arriving in Missoula in August of 2005 and at the helm of The Trail 103.3 since, it’s been challenging and rewarding all the while.
I began my broadcasting journey in 1978 in my hometown of Springfield, Illinois. From there it was on to Colorado Springs, Colorado (1983-1990), then to Grand Rapids, Michigan (1990-1992), before landing in Chicago, Illinois (1993-2001).

Raising kids in Chicago wasn’t something I was fond of, so came the time to pull up stakes again.
THE MOOSE in Bozeman came knocking and it was off to Montana, a jump to Missoula and the rest is history.
I’ve shaken hands with some of my heroes…Neil Young, Frank Zappa, Todd Rundgren, Peter Gabriel, Frank Sinatra, Bono, Paul Westerberg, Kurt Cobain, Thom Yorke to name a few.

Recreation is a beautiful thing…snowboarding, hiking, and horses fill the bill.  I play a little guitar too.
I love my wife, Andrea, and my daughters, Chloe and Mazzy.  Mazzy was diagnosed with Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes at the age of 20 months, she’ll be 12 this year (2110), and she’s doing well.  I walk for the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) each year, and have been doing so since the fall of 2000.  I’d love to have you join the JDRF walk in Missoula every April.  Visit jdrf.org to learn more.

Peace!
Thanks for listening,
Robert Chase
