General Rules for all contests
1. Each contest is open to all qualified persons 18 years or older except the following: a. Employees of the Montana Radio Company; household members, siblings, and parents of said Montana Radio Company employees; b. Employees of all Missoula area broadcasting companies, and their immediate family members; There is no purchase necessary.
2. A total of one prize may be won per household address, name, and or family residing in same, per contest, whether the prize be in cash, services, or merchandise. 3. Persons who have previously won a prize of either cash, services, or merchandise from any of the Montana Radio Company stations either from a contest or a station event, are subject to the following restrictions: Persons who have won a prize valued up to $100 in the last 30 days are not eligible to win. These restrictions also apply to immediate household members of contest or prize winners. 4. The winner will be responsible for all tax liability associated with winning this contest. Winner will be required to sign an eligibility release form and give The Montana Radio Company and its sponsors permission to use their name, photo and voice for promotional purposes without further compensation. By accepting prize, winner releases the Montana Radio Company, all stations and all participating sponsors from any liability as a result of this prize. The Montana Radio Company reserves the right to substitute prizes of similar or greater value. The Montana Radio Company shall not be responsible to replace prize tickets to events, which are cancelled and the event sponsors do not issue replacement tickets. 5. The Montana Radio Company is not liable for violation of any Federal, State or local laws by contestants in route to or leaving from or attending any station events. If any violation of law occur by contestants, The Montana Radio Company reserves the right to deny the contestant any prizes or rewards. 6. The Montana Radio Company is not responsible for misdirected or mis-dialed phone calls. In the unlikely event that 2 or more people are on the telephone line at the same time, a drawing will be held to determine the winner. 7. Copies of these rules are available at the Montana Radio Company, 2425 W. Central Avenue, Suite 203, Missoula MT 59801 during regular business hours; or by mailing a self-addressed, stamped envelope. A condensed version of the Contest Rules will be aired on the radio station during the respective contest period. Contest rules are also posted on station web sites where available. 8. All decisions by the judges and/or administrators of the contest are final. 9. Prizes may not be awarded until winner has been verified for eligibility through the Montana Radio Company Business Office. Prizes must be claimed in a timely manner. Prizes not picked up within 30 days will be considered abandoned. Some prizes may expire. The Montana Radio Company will not be required to replace expired items. 10. Prizes are non-transferable and will be awarded to the winner only, based on eligibility. 11. Picture ID is required in order to claim a prize. 12. Prize will not be mailed. Winner must pick up prize in person and sign proof of receipt and contest rules. 13. Contest rules may be modified by The Montana Radio Company at any time.
Specific rules for this contest
1. Contest dates: May 9, 2011 – until a winner is determined. 2. Specific rules: The Montana Radio Company is giving away 4 weekend festival tickets including camping for this year’s Targhee Fest (July 15-17) at Grand Targhee, Wyoming. Transportation to the festival is the responsibility of the winner(s). Also Bob Ward's is adding a camping package for four. This package is slated to include: 2 Chaos "2" tents, 4 Desert Pine "20" Sleeping bags, 4 Comfort Series air pads and 4 Orizaba "3900" backpacks. The camping gear is subject to change but if changed will retain an approximate $2,000 retail value. These prizes will be awarded to the first eligible person or group of people working together who find the hidden Trail carabiner and return it to the radio station. 3. Sometime before Monday May 9th, we will hide a Trail carabiner. It will be hidden in a public location in Missoula or Ravalli County. Anyone who trespasses on private property while looking for the carabiner could be disqualified. 4. Beginning Monday May 9th clues to help find the hidden carabiner will be posted at www.trail1033.com At least one clue per day will be posted prior to noon. 5. The prize will be awarded to the person or persons who first return the carabiner to our offices at 2425 W. Central Ave. Suite 203 (above Gold’s Gym) in Missoula. Our offices are open Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. 6. Should we determine that the carabiner has been found, but it is not returned by 5pm the following business day, the Montana Radio Company reserves the right to declare the scavenger hunt to be null and void and to conduct another scavenger hunt or award the prizes in an alternate fashion. |  |  | | Share |  | | Log in to comment... |  |  |
