This weekend’s Roots Fest Juried Art Show is the biggest in the festival’s 11-year history, with 27 artists representing 16 Montana communities and four different states slated to showcase their work.
More than half of this year’s artists are new to the show, with disciplines ranging from painting and graphic arts to jewelry, woodwork, sculpture and wearable fiber.
The art show runs 11 am to 7 pm on Friday and Saturday, August 26-27, on the 100 block of West Main Street in downtown Missoula.
