The Trail 103.3 is proud to once again sponsor the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s annual Walk to Cure Diabetes!
This year’s walk will be held Sunday, April 9th, at Ogren Park Allegiance Field. Registration for the three-mile walk along the beautiful Clark Fork River starts at 1 pm, with the walk beginning at 2 pm followed by a barbecue cookout with raffle prizes.
This year’s event will be fun for both children and families affected by Type 1 diabetes, as well as their supporters. There will be kids games, visits by Missoula Osprey mascots Ollie and Slash plus free food and entertainment provided by the Trail.
JDRF is the world’s leading charitable supporter and advocate of Type 1 Diabetes research, having awarded more than one billion dollars to to diabetes research since its founding in 1970. Completely volunteer-driven, 100 percent of funds raised by the foundation go directly towards funding research and education.
Last year the Missoula walk raised $50,000 that went directly to helping find a cure!
