As if your summer wasn’t already full with amazing live music experiences, now there’s another weekend to block off on your calendar.
The Trail 103.3 joined organizers with the River City Roots Festival this evening to announce the line-up for 2018, and it looks like we’re in for another treat!
We already knew recent Grammy Award winners the Infamous Stringdusters would headline one of the festival’s two nights – but now we’ve filled out the rest of the schedule. Check it out below.
This year’s festival happens Friday, August 24, and Saturday, August 25, at the intersections of Main Street and Ryman, right in the heart of downtown Missoula.
Like previous years, the free outdoor festival will also include family activities, a juried art show, a four-mile fun run and a food court featuring Missoula’s finest local food and drink vendors. And don’t forget to extend Roots Fest weekend with a very special edition of Downtown ToNight in Caras Park Thursday Night and the annual Roots Fest Sidewalk Sale all through downtown on Sunday!
Without further ado, here’s the full music line-up:

12:30-2 pm: Missoula-area kid bands
2:30-4 pm: Good Old Fashioned
4:30-6 pm: Laney Lou & the Bird Dogs
