This week on the Trail Less Traveled, Mandela interviews the Arizona resident about both his formative years and his time since, with appearances in (among dozens of others): Dances with Wolves, Cowboys & Aliens, Crazy Horse, Call of the Wild and the TV series Northern Exposure.

Buffalo Child has also worked as a professional stuntman and currently writes, speaks and studies horsemanship on his ranch in Sedona.
