Music is creative, music is fun; but music is also big business.
This year the Trail 103.3 is excited to take part in a gathering that celebrates both aspects of sound. It’s called the Montana Music Summit, and it’s all about bringing artists, entertainment executives, tech professionals and others in the industry together to share and present ideas about the evolving landscape.
Among the happenings: A job fair for you to sign up to work with local and regional music and film festivals; an instructional panel on how to produce a music festival; presentations on trends in production, A&R, promoting, booking and music licensing … PLUS special presentations from Pearl Jam fan club manager Tim Bierman and Fitz and the Tantrums drummer John Wicks!
We’re doubly excited for this year’s inaugural event the Trail’s own Alanya has been invited to participate as a guest panelist! Alanya will join Mike Garcia of Northern Lights Trading and Nick Checota of Logjam Presents for a discussion on community enrichment through the arts.
So if you haven’t already, make sure you spend a minute exploring the event website. They’ve got a comprehensive schedule of events there as well as a list of speakers and performing artists.
The Trail 103.3 will also be staffing a table at the event, so be sure to stop by, say hello and pick up some station schwag!
